Our Mission

The Wildlife Conservation Coalition is an association established to provide a collective and united voice for conservation in North Western Matabeleland. By bringing together like-minded organizations under one board and leadership team, the Coalition creates a platform that ensures the continuity and longevity of the trusts we represent, safeguarding the important conservation work already being carried out.

As a primarily implementing organization, we operate on the ground each day, tackling challenges at a grassroots level. Through the pooling of resources, expertise, and operational logistics, the Coalition strengthens efficiency and expands our conservation footprint across the region.

Driven by a unity of purpose, we believe that the greatest impact is achieved when we work together—protecting and preserving our natural world for generations to come.

Where We Operate

The Wildlife Conservation Coalition carries out its work in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, a region globally renowned for its unique biodiversity and iconic landscapes. Situated at the heart of one of Africa’s most critical conservation frontiers, our initiatives are rooted in safeguarding wildlife populations, protecting fragile ecosystems, and strengthening coexistence between communities and nature.

Operating within this strategically significant area not only allows us to address pressing conservation challenges such as poaching and habitat loss, but also to ensure the long-term sustainability of wildlife tourism, which is central to the region’s economy. Through coordinated action and collaboration with local partners, we ensure that conservation in Victoria Falls has both immediate impact and enduring legacy
